How to Use Tamy Doll Skin Guard
The Skin Guard is intended to be the barrier between your skin and the wig adhesive (like Tamy Doll lace glue), helping to reduce irritation and improve the hold time.
Preparation:
1. Cleanse: Ensure the skin around your hairline and temples (where the wig will be secured) is clean and dry. Use an alcohol-based cleanser to remove any oil or makeup residue.
Application:
1. Apply a Thin Layer: Apply a thin, even layer of the Tamy Doll Skin guard to the area of the skin where the wig lace/cap will sit. This is typically the perimeter of your head.
2. Allow to Dry: Allow the product to dry completely. This is crucial for it to form a proper protective film. It should feel non-tacky or slightly tacky, depending on the formula.
• Note: If the product is a spray, a light mist is usually enough. If it's a liquid, a cotton swab or makeup brush can be used for precise application.
Wig Application:
1. Apply Adhesive: Once the skin guard is dry, you can proceed with applying your Tamy Doll lace glue bond or other wig adhesive directly onto the dried layer of the skin guard.
2. Secure the Wig: Follow the instructions for your specific lace glue to attach and secure your wig for a comfortable and secure hold.
